White on White Trend

One of my all time favorite combos is white on white. I've been wearing this trend excessively this trend all summer long, but can you blame me? It is such a refreshing and chic look, plus between us the color white enhances my summer tan which I love! 

Saturday I wore this trend out to dinner. I went to my favorite Thai restaurant called Sea Thai and it's located in Brooklyn, NY.  If you ever get a chance go visit it the food is delicious!

Grid Print Trend

One print that has been trending this summer and will reign this fall is the "Grid Print Trend". It has slowly taken over stores and bloggers. The print is mostly black and white, however it may come in different colors. 

How to wear it? It depends on your personal style. You can wear a Grid Top with plain bottoms, or you can mix Prints in a cool edgy way. However mixing prints can be tricky, if you don't feel comfortable with it don't do it. Another tip is to wear a pop of color; since the grid is black and white, you can wear a fushia bag or jewelry (but don't over do it, the print is already busy so don't overload with accesories).

Lunch Break

Yesterday I went for a quick lunch. It was a very hot, sunny and humid day in the big city of New York. This is why I decided to wear my hair up, no jewelry and a fresh summer dress with colorful prints. This is one of my favorite looks when on the go; it is simple, chic and comfortable. 

My dress is from Tj Maxx, sandals are from Zigi Soho, sunglasses are Ralph Lauren and oversized red clutch is from Forever 21.
